Consulting only helps when both sides know what “done enough” looks like. This page describes how we run engagements so you can judge fit before you write a cheque.
Stage map
Discovery
A free conversation to test whether your question matches our consultations. We decline politely when the need is pure implementation or a conflict we cannot hold.
Written proposal
Scope, inclusions, exclusions, fee basis, and a proposed start week. No surprise modules. You approve in writing before invoices issue.
Working period
Sessions, interviews, or workshops per the selected consultation. Notes land within two business days of each working session.
Readout & stop
A closing readout for diagnoses and packages. Retainers renew only by explicit agreement every twelve weeks, with a clear exit path.
Decision rights
You keep ownership of hiring, architecture choices, and process changes. We advise; we do not silently override your managers. If a recommendation is ignored, we document the risk and continue only if the engagement remains honest.
Communication norms
Primary channel is email with scheduled video sessions. Slack or Teams may be used for logistics, not for unbounded async consulting. Urgent production incidents remain your on-call responsibility.
