These Terms govern access to portalbrook.click and the consulting services offered by PortalBrook Software Consulting (“PortalBrook,” “we,” “us”). By using this site or engaging our consultations, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance
If you do not agree, do not use the site or request services. Proposal documents signed by both parties may add or modify terms for a specific engagement; where they conflict, the signed proposal controls for that engagement.
Services described online
Descriptions of consultations, rates, and timelines on this site are informational. They do not constitute a binding offer until a written proposal is accepted. We may decline work that conflicts with our capacity or ethics.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, timely access to people and artefacts needed for the engagement, and to ensure you have authority to share that material. You remain responsible for decisions you implement after receiving advice.
Intellectual property
Site content, branding, and original written materials we produce remain PortalBrook property unless a proposal assigns rights. Client materials stay yours. You receive a licence to use delivered advisory documents for internal business purposes. Public redistribution requires our written consent.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, PortalBrook is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from site use or consulting advice. Our aggregate liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the three months preceding the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including under the Australian Consumer Law).
No guarantees of commercial outcome
Advisory and process consulting influence organisational behaviour; they do not guarantee revenue, hiring success, uptime, or board approval.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Courts in Perth, Western Australia, have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of material changes for site use; active engagements follow their signed documents unless both parties agree otherwise.
